You might want to learn a practical skill, try something creative or find an activity that gets a child curious. Education happens in plenty of places, and the first step is often finding an opportunity you didn't know was nearby.
What this section covers
MX Education & Learning covers learning across Maroondah: education providers, schools, libraries, community houses, clubs and groups with something useful to teach. That can include workshops, talks, short courses, creative activities and opportunities for children, teenagers and adults. School stories belong here when there's a clear connection to the wider community.
Why it matters
We'll focus on what you can learn, who the opportunity is intended for and what you need to know to take part. A provider's promotional claim isn't the same as a confirmed outcome, so we'll keep those distinctions clear and acknowledge the people delivering the learning.
What MX does here
Explore MX's learning listings for local opportunities. The MX School Holiday Guide is a related resource for families: it brings together holiday activities and planning information, rather than listing schools or assessing their performance. Each dated edition covers its stated holiday period, so check the dates before using it.
Have a learning opportunity or a community education story to share? Send the source link, intended audience and provider contact to [email protected]. Include any confirmed cost, booking and age conditions.
Join the free MX newsletter for a Tuesday selection of local stories, events and opportunities. Check the provider's current details before enrolling or booking.
