A familiar shopping strip can still have places you've never really noticed. A shop, a studio or a service might offer something useful, but first you need a reason to stop and have a look.
What this section covers
MX Business covers the local businesses and shopping areas that are part of everyday life in Maroondah. Openings, milestones, changes and the people behind shops, studios, venues and services all offer possible stories when they give residents something useful to know.
Why it matters
We want to explain what a business actually does and what its story means locally. That gives the owner credit for their work and gives you something more useful than a promotional slogan. We'll keep a business's claims clearly attributed and identify paid placements when they occur.
What MX does here
The MX guide to Maroondah shopping areas gives you places to explore. Dated business articles can build on that with a closer look at a particular opening, change or contribution, using checked details and an owner's contribution where available.
Run a local business with an opening, anniversary or useful change to share? Send the original announcement and a contact to [email protected]. A submission gives us something to review; it doesn't guarantee coverage.
Join the free MX newsletter for local stories and discoveries every Tuesday. Check the business's current details before visiting.
